Vieux Séminaire de Saint-Sulpice
Built between 1684 and 1687, the Saint-Sulpice Seminary is Montreal’s oldest structure. It is located in the historic Old Montreal district next to the Notre Dame Basilica. The seminary contains both the oldest clock of its kind and the oldest gardens in all of North America. Its bells still ring daily, as heard in this recording of the noon bells.
