Montalcino is a town in the Tuscany region of Italy. It dates back to the 10th century, but today is world famous for the Brunello de Montalcino wines that are produced in the area. The charming city center contains the Palazzo dei Priori which is a medieval tower containing bells that ring on the hour, including 8:00 PM when this recording occurred.
