Pipe
Built in the early 19th century, the Notre Dame Basilica is one of the world’s best examples of Gothic Revival architecture. The grand and colorful interior is visually stunning, but the church’s most distinguishing feature is its massive pipe organ. Completed in 1891, the organ is comprised of four keyboards and 7000 individual pipes. A truly epic sound echoes throughout the church when this intricate instrument is played.
