Vieques is a Caribbean island belonging to Puerto Rico. Located eight miles off of the mainland, it was once a testing site for the US Navy and mostly undeveloped for tourism for over 60 years. Today, the beautiful island attracts visitors because of its lack of development and its pristine beaches.
