Tierra del Fuego is an archipelago near the southern tip of South America that spans both Argentina and Chile and is well known for it’s dramatic beauty. In 2010, a group of King Penguins unexpectedly came on land from the Inútil Bay on the west side of the main island and have returned each year since then. They have gradually increased in numbers and the park was established in 2011 for protection and conservation of this incredible species of bird.
