Ciudade Maravilhosa
The vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro is well known for its urban beaches. Perhaps the most infamous is Ipanema Beach due to the popular Bossa Nova song from the 60’s. Locals and visitors pack the over 2 km white sand beach daily to soak up the sun. The Dois Irmãos (Two Brothers) Mountains peak on the western end of the beach providing a dazzling backdrop.
