Lakeside 
Crystal lake is located in Benzie county in the US state of Michigan. In the 1800’s, there was an attempt to connect the lake to nearby Lake Michigan with a channel. The project failed, but it did lower the water level of the lake and revealed the sandy beaches that are now popular for visitors.
