Ferrara is a city in northern Italy and its history and architecture dates back hundreds of years. The city remains surrounded by 9 km of ancient walls that were built in the 15th and 16th centuries. They are among the best preserved renaissance walls in the world and today, there are bike and jogging paths both on top of and alongside the beautiful structures.
