Arey’s Pond is located in the town of Orleans, Massachusetts. The pond feeds into the Namequoit River that flows through Little Pleasant Bay and Pleasant Bay before feeding into the Atlantic Ocean. The pond takes its name from a family whose lineage can be traced all the way back to the Mayflower. Captain Oliver Arey was a resident of Orleans, MA when the town was incorporated in 1797.
