Frozen
Located in the Superior National Forest, Gunflint is a lake in northern Minnesota that straddles the border with the Canadian province of Ontario. This was recorded as the lake was in process of freezing over for the winter. The strong winds created waves that broke up the ice and made a unique sound as the pieces crashed into the shore.
