Carenero Island is a long and forested island located just a few hundred meters east of Isla Colón, in the Bocas del Toro Archipelago of Panama. There are no cars on the island. It is beautiful and peaceful at nighttime, but visitors should be wary of large sand fly and mosquito populations.
