Beach Master
La Lobería is a beach located near Puerto Baquerizo Moreno on the Galápagos Island of San Cristobal. Along with its stunning views, the beach is also noted for its large population of sea lions. At the time of this recording in December of 2016, a number of baby sea lions were present. The dominant male, sometimes referred to as the “beach master,” swam up and down the beach barking to protect his hard-won territory.
