Temple of the Reclining Buddha
Dating back to the 1700s, Wat Pho is a Buddhist temple in Bangkok, Thailand. It is one of the largest and oldest wats in the city and contains more than one thousand images of Buddha. None are more famous than the reclining Buddha, which measures in at a massive 43 meters. A unique feature of Wat Pho are the 108 bronze bowls in the corridor. The bowls represent the 108 auspicious characters of Buddha. Visitors drop coins into each bowl believing it will bring them good fortune.
