The Grand Socco is a large marketplace in Tangier that connects the old and new parts of the city. Along with the main open air market, there are many side streets that lead through the Medina and into alleyways containing more stores and bakeries. In addition to the store fronts, there are locals selling homemade goods, music and cactus fruit on the side of the cobbled streets.
