Ancient Wonder
The Temple of Artemis was a Greek temple dedicated to the goddess Artemis located near the city of Ephesus. Named as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the temple was completely rebuilt three times before its ultimate destruction in the year 401. Today, the site is marked by a single reconstructed column of fragments discovered during excavation.
